Throughout the course of the year, Oakwood Christian School undertakes a variety of activities
for the purpose of raising funds to help give our students the best possible environment for
their continued education. These programs provide monies for the purchase of equipment and
supplies, as well as funding trips for our students. We invite you to participate in any or
all of these activites.

dollars to be used for school services, supplies, and other needs. School Dollars print out with your
register receipt. Please turn in School Dollars at the OCS office.

American Clothing Recycling
|
 
|
American Clothing Recycling provides a collection box in our parking lot in which donations
can be placed. After collection, the clothing is brought to their factory and weighed, and
OCS is then paid 3 cents per pound on a monthly basis. The donations are then sent to a third
world country where they help meet the needs of their citizens.
|

Acceptable items include the following:

- All Men's, Women's, and Children's clothing
- Handbags
- Belts
- Shoes and Sneakers
- Bedding ... Sheets, Blankets, Bedspreads
- Draperies and Curtains
- Towels
- Hats
- Scarfs
- Stuffed Animals
|
For ease of handling, all items should be left in tied plastic bags, paper bags, or boxes.

Paper Recycling Program

GreenFiber provides a collection box in our parking lot in which donations can be placed.
This will help OCS earn money and reduce waste removal costs while helping to conserve our
natural resources. GreenFiber makes environmentally friendly, safe, and efficient insulation
from the paper products that you recycle.

We are currently collecting cell phones to recycle.
There is a collection box located near the school office.
Ink Cartridge Recycling Program
We are currently collecting used ink cartridges to recycle.
Bring in your used cartridges from any inkjet or laser printer.
